Skype for Business Server 2015

Reference architecture

Microsoft recently started outing info on Skype for Business Server 2015. For now its a re-brand of the next iteration of Lync Server in line with the “for Business” brand Microsoft has started, like OneDrive for Business.

Over the years I’ve referenced cheat sheet documents or one page workload Visio diagrams to check over Lync Server design infrastructure. Lync is a complex beast with many port requirements, DNS requirements or server requirements for different available topologies depending on the extent of services you want to leverage from Skype for Business.
